GLADSTONE -- Fifty-nine-year-old Gary John Masonick of Gladstone was arrested on Friday after police say he provided alcohol and controlled substances to minors.

The youngest child involved is 11 years old and the oldest is 16 years old. Officers from Gladstone Public Safety arrested Masonick after receiving a complaint on Friday that the man was supplying the alcohol and substances at 619 Michigan Ave. in Gladstone.

At his arraignment, Masonick was charged with four counts of providing a controlled substance to a minor. His bail was set to $5,000 cash and he will be in court on October 11 for a preliminary hearing.

Officers were assisted at the scene by a trooper from the Michigan State Police and deputies from the Delta County Sheriff's Department.
