It's a pleasant weekend across the UP. Saturday's highs will be in the upper 50s near the lakes and mid 60s inland. Skies should be mostly sunny and there should be a light northeast wind just ahead of a large area of high pressure. We owe this high pressure system a thanks for giving us such a mild and clear weekend.
Clear skies and light winds will make it cool down to lows in the 30s Saturday night, but there should still be 40s near the lakes.
Sunday should see similar temperatures, but as the high pressure center passes by, skies should be even sunnier and winds will be light and variable.
Sunday night low's will be mainly in the 40s as winds increase out of the south behind the high pressure system. This sets the stage for Monday and Tuesday.
As winds persist out of the south for Monday, highs will warm back up into the 60s. Skies will start out mostly sunny, but as a weak cold front approaches ahead of the next low pressure system more clouds are likely along with a chance for some light rain. So far, rain amounts are looking to be very low.
As the front passes, Monday night may see some showers and clouds east, but skies should become mostly clear overnight. Tuesday will see more warmer than average temperatures.

There's a full moon Saturday night. Here's some info from www.SpaceWeather.com: "This weekend's full Moon is the Harvest Moon, the full Moon closest to the autumnal equinox. Before electric lights, farmers working after sunset relied on the light of the Harvest Moon to help them gather ripening autumn crops. Now it's just a pretty sight. Look east for the Harvest moonrise on Saturday night."
