Bull moose dead after colliding with semi truck

PERKINS -- The Michigan State Police have reported a crash involving a moose and a semi truck on St. Nicholas Road, north of Perkins, Michigan.

Police responded to the incident at around 11:15 a.m. on Monday. Police believe the bull moose ran into the semi truck, then wandered off into the woods where it was found dead.

The 73-year-old driver of the semi was not injured.

Department of Natural Resources officers and the Michigan State Police responded to the crash.
