MARQUETTE -- The hallways of Marquette Senior High School were filled Thursday evening but not with students.

Parents of students were invited for the yearly open house.  They got their child's schedule, then went around to their classes to get to know their teachers.

Not only was it to meet their child's teachers, but also experience their day to day activities.

"Going from one class that's on one end of the building first floor to the other end of the building on the second floor.  The crowds may not be as great tonight as they are during the school day, but it's a nice walk to see how far it is to travel," said Marquette Senior High School Principal, Bob Anthony.

Student volunteers helped pass out schedules to the parents.
