MARQUETTE -- The Norlite Nursing Center is celebrating its 40th year in Marquette this month. The celebration will feature a pig roast this Thursday.

Norlite is inviting members of the community to come and share their memories. This also coincides with the third annual art exhibit. The theme for this year's art is "dream." The artwork includes photography, paintings and wood carvings.

"It's a wonderful way for the community to come in, see Norlite, to feel the atmosphere that we have here and then, of course, take in the wonderful art pieces that the community have brought to us," said Norlite Activities Director Vanessa Miazga. "Come help us celebrate 40 years! That's a big achievement, so come and have some lunch with us. We'd love that."

Awards for the art will be handed out on Thursday. The pig roast will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is just four dollars per person.
