NORWAY -- The Grace United Methodist Church of Norway is considering building a sanctuary. Initially the church was planning to build a sanctuary but did not have enough funds.

Currently it has a Great Room that is shared for both worship and community events.

The Grace UMC has formed a committee to look into the costs of building the sanctuary at the Crossroads church site on Odill Drive.

"We've hosted dinners in here, mission teams have stayed here and slept here, people have played basketball and a variety of other games and exercise groups," said Irene White, Pastor at Grace UMC.

The church still has to raise the money to finish, but the work could be implemented in several small phases and may be started as early as next spring.
