Police identify body found in Marquette

MARQUETTE -- The Marquette Police Department has identified the body found in a vacant Marquette building Friday.

According to police, the body is of Shawn Dollar, 34, of Marquette, who was reported missing Thursday.

Police made the positive identification following an autopsy earlier Saturday morning.

Police have not released the cause of death and declined to comment on the specifics of the ongoing investigation.

On Friday, a search party led to the discovery of Dollar's remains in a vacant building located on 231 W. Washington Street.
