HOUGHTON -- An annual report by US News that ranks colleges and universities throughout the United States has ranked Michigan Technological University in the top 150 of 1,600 schools ranked nationally.
Michigan Tech came in at 120 on the list according to the report. Some of the highlights the report shows are MTU's 120 undergraduate areas of study and the school's 75.2 percent acceptance rate.
MTU released a statement on Wednesday, highlighting their 64th ranked engineering programs. The university also had all disciplines ranked at 58 among national universities.
Northern Michigan University was ranked in the regional standings for the Midwest at number 77 on that list of 107 colleges and universities.
