MARQUETTE -- A Marquette church is looking to help the needy with a rummage sale Saturday.

The Marquette Bible Church has taken in donated items from the community that they will sell Saturday morning. The money from those sales will go towards funding the church's local and international Christmas charities.

"We started our Christmas basket, our local missions basket last year, so our church family has put a lot of work towards this year, reaching out to our community," said Cari Detmers, an organizer with the church.

The rummage sale began at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church and runs until 2 p.m.

The church will donate the remaining items to Goodwill and the Salvation Army.
