ISHPEMING -- The Bell Hospital Board of Directors has named Floyd Bounds as the new Chief Executive Officer.   The 56-year-old Bounds specializes in interim CEO jobs within the hospital industry.  He currently lives in Florida.

His contract is for 18 months with an option for an extension.  Terms have not been disclosed.  Bounds will begin his new role September 10.

Hospital officials say Bounds has a track record of producing financial and operational improvements.  Bell Hospital is having an audit done at the end of September.  Hospital officials say their last audit showed a loss, but the hospital is in the middle of a financial turnaround.
