NORWAY -- Monday, the last day of the Dickinson County Fair in Norway, still had a good turnout despite gloomy weather.

Fairgoers were surrounded by a selection of tasty treats such as candy apples, corndogs and cotton candy. Many took a bite out of everything the fair had to offer. Even Representative Ed McBroom was present to speak with constituents.

The wet conditions didn’t damper the spirit of Dickinson County fairgoers. As the rain came down, the rides went on.

“The fair was excellent,” says Iron Mountain resident Geno Basanese. “Kids did a lot of games, kids did a lot of rides, and the weather didn’t affect anything.”

Guests made their way around more than the merry-go-round and saved time to pet some prize-winning barnyard companions. Many also successfully tried their luck at games, walking away with their hands full.
