ESCANABA -- Thousands of people turned out for the 37th Annual Steam and Gas Engine Show at the U.P. State Fairgrounds in Escanaba this past weekend.
The event is expected to draw around 10,000 people over the Labor Day weekend.
Steam and gas engine enthusiasts bring tractors and cars from all makes and models to showcase their machines. This year a steam car made over 100 years ago called "Stanley Steamer" was featured.
"We're just here to present the car. It's a steam and tractor show so this is steam. It's not a tractor very well, but it just fits the nature of the show," said Stanley Steamer owner, Jim Anderson.
The show will run through Monday.
