ALPHA -- The Iron County Chamber of Commerce had its first-ever End of Summer Blues Fest in Alpha.
The event had a lot of different things to offer, like vendors, temporary tattoos, food and live entertainment. Bob Black, who organized the festival, says he's happy to see it become a hit and explains it'll be an annual event.
"I work for board of directors for local businesses; we are non-profit, non-government. They said, 'Bob, come up with a signature event, make something up.' I made this up," said Black as he spoke of the festival.
The event also had blues fest t-shirts for sale. Those that purchased them can tie die them for next year's festival and win prizes.
