17-year-old arrested for assault with knife

GLADSTONE -- A Gladstone man is in jail after he threatened residents with a knife Saturday night, police said.

The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Delta Avenue Alley. Gladstone officers and state troopers arrested 17-year-old Jacob Anthony Wydra of Gladstone on scene and the knife was recovered. No injuries were reported.

Wydra is lodged at the Delta County Jail. He was in court on Monday and is facing a charge of felonious assault with a knife. He could receive four years in prison if convicted.

Wydra's bond was set at $5,000.
