FLORENCE, WISCONSIN -- Setup for the Florence County Fair began Thursday and will officially open Friday afternoon through Sunday.
Improvements have been made for this year such as a new exhibit building, roof, and a freshly painted pavilion.
Last year the fair drew in over 6,500 people, and organizers hope to attract an even higher number this year.
"We're hoping it'll be a big day. We have our king and queen contest and the Cadillacs perform at 8 p.m., and then we have fireworks tomorrow night, which is new for us, so hoping to have a crowd for that," said Fair Manager, Jessica Klumpp.
If you would like to attend, you can purchase a parking pass good for the entire weekend for seven dollars.
