MARQUETTE TWP. -- Presidential candidate Mitt Romney's tour bus made a stop in Marquette Saturday morning, just moments after Romney's campaign announced his running mate, Congressman Paul Ryan.
The bus parked in front of Lawry's Pasty Shop in Marquette Township. The public could stop by and tour it for a couple hours before it made its way to the county fair and the Gogebic County Fair later Saturday evening.
Meanwhile, in a morning speech in Virginia, Romney praised Ryan as an "intellectual leader of the Republican party." Ryan is from Wisconsin and serves as House Budget Committee chairman.
