MARQUETTE -- Seniors packed the Peter White Public Library for the second day of an AARP Listening tour.

This time for a talk on health care. The information session looked at what the new Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act covers. They also talked about some common misconceptions with the new act.

Andrew Farmer with AARP says they also learn how the new act can expand their Medicare coverage.

"They will go away having some new information and knowledge about how these issues work, how to figure out what they want to learn, and AARP will also leave having a better understanding for how people in Marquette see these issues," said Farmer.

All comments are used to help gauge the public's opinion on health care and dealing with issues of the new health care act.
