ROCK -- The Water Boil Advisory for Maple Ridge Township in the Community of Rock has been lifted.

A valve broke on the main water line in the Delta County community, flooding one resident's property. That valve has been fixed, but residents in Rock on the municipal water system were being advised to boil water meant for human consumption.

Township officials lifted the advisory on Thursday afternoon. If you have questions, you're asked to contact the Township Supervisor at (906) 356-6003.
