Marijuana found on break-in suspect

SAWYER -- A suspect is in custody after police in Marquette County were alerted to a break-in on Monday morning.

The Forsyth Township Police Department reported that at around 3:30 a.m. on Monday, they were called out to a residence in Sawyer for a possible breaking and entering. Officers said that they located a possible suspect who was found to be in possession of oxycodone and about two pounds of marijuana.

The case has been handed over to the Marquette County Prosecutor's Office for charges to be filed. Names have not been released at this time.
