MENOMINEE CO. -- A Marinette man has been sentenced in Menominee County Circuit Court for weapons charges. David Laluzerne, 23, robbed Ma's Smoke Shop in Menominee in May.

Laluzerne pled guilty to unarmed robbery and felony firearm. He received two years for the felony firearm and received five years and six months minimum to fifteen years for the unarmed robbery. Laluzerne will serve seven years and six months total.

"Rehabilitation is important to this court, but you were given the tools to rehabilitate yourself and you blew that chance," said Judge Celello.

Laluzerne left the store with $2,000 worth of spice or synthetic marijuana. He was arrested shortly after during a traffic.
