MARQUETTE -- It's a busy Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette this weekend.

The annual Art On The Rocks brought thousands of people to the park on Saturday. The event features both local and nationally recognized artists. This year more than 180 of them are displaying their works.

One returning musician from Arizona says he is amazed at the community response to his Native-American flute.

"I love to play with the sound," said Vibhas Kendzia, a musician.

"They're all wooden flutes, and I also integrate different articulations into the sound. At first I was a little worried because my music is a little more southwestern style, but the people love it and I feel totally in the right place."

He's one of many artists selling their works. Art On The Rocks continues on Sunday.
