New stop for motorcyclists in Keweenaw

The Keweenaw Convention and Visitor's Bureau is celebrating the fact that they are now a part of Ride Lake Superior.

The Keweenaw is now a part of seven touring motorcycle routes around Lake Superior. There's also a new website where riders can find motorcycle-friendly locations as well as lodging and local attractions.

"There's no place like the Keweenaw. Our scenery is unlike anything you've ever seen, and when you get on a motorcycle, it's totally different than riding in a car," said President of the Keweenaw Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Dianne Peterson.

While riding the 1500 mile route, you can stop by the participating visitor centers and ask for a map and a sticker.
