Saturday should see plenty of sunshine and seasonable temperatures

A passing cold front brought some storms early Saturday morning, and as it passes throughout the rest of the morning, some lingering showers should continue east. Otherwise Saturday should be pleasant and warm. Highs will mainly be in the 70s and low 80s in the southern UP. Skies should be sunny by the afternoon and winds should be out of the northwest around 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday night's lows will fall into the 50s to low 60s. As high pressure moves in behind the front, skies will be clear and winds should be near calm.

On Sunday, things will warm up again into the mid to upper 80s. Skies should be mostly sunny. As a new low pressure system enters the Upper Great Lakes, we'll see a south wind with an incoming warm front later in the day.

With the warm front, some light rain is possible on Sunday night, but the greater rain chances come with the low pressure center and cold front that will be passing later Sunday night and Monday morning. Any rain that pops up should be light, but a rumble of thunder is possible. Sunday night's lows will be warm in the upper 60s to around 70 under partly cloudy skies.

On Monday, some lingering showers are likely in the morning moving eastward, but skies should clear up afterwards for a mostly sunny day. With a breezy northwest wind, highs will be in the upper 70s to 80s, coolest near Lake Superior.

The rest of the week looks to have mostly seasonal temperatures with mostly dry conditions.
