F-18 Hornets buzz the skies over Marquette County

MARQUETTE COUNTY -- Some of you have been asking about those fighter jets that have been flying around the Marquette, Negaunee and Ishpeming areas. We learned they were F-18 Hornets with the Marine Corps in Texas.

The pair of fighter jets flew out Friday. One of them has been here for a week. The second one arrived Thursday. They were in the area as part of a training mission. They headed back to Texas at noon Friday.
