ISHPEMING -- The Ishpeming Police Department reports that the woman hit by a vehicle in Ishpeming on Wednesday has died from her injuries.
Linda Marie Vanginkel, 64, died early Friday morning at Marquette General Hospital. She was hit by a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Richard Charles Jordan while crossing Third Street in Ishpeming.
The charges against Jordan have been increased. He is charged with operating on a suspended, revoked, or denied license, causing death. He remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail.
