NEGAUNEE -- The streets of Negaunee were filled with bicyclists on Wednesday, and most of them still had training wheels.

It was all for the annual Negaunee Elks Kids Bike Parade in celebration of Pioneer Week. The kids started in downtown Negaunee, and then made their way to the Negaunee ice arena, where they participated in several activities.

Most of the parade participants decked out their wheels to show them off for the spectators.

"I'm pretty excited to see all the kinds of bikes that everybody's been decorating," said Bryce Jarvii. "They've spent obviously a lot of time on them."

Once the bicyclists made it to the arena, kids were able to do everything from play carnival games to horseback ride.
