ESCANABA -- Massage Works in Escanaba has been open since June 4, and the owners say business has been very busy already.

Massage therapists Deborah St. John and Kristi Bowling are the co-owners. They used to work for a chiropractor's office, but they now use their skills to help people who come in for clinical massages, relaxation, and body wraps.

"It's very exciting," said Deborah St. John. "We are out on our own. We're discovering new product lines every day and discovering that body wraps for wellness and the products that we have go hand-in-hand with the massage that we deliver."

The pair recommends getting a one-hour massage at least once per month. It costs $55 for a one-hour massage, and you can schedule a massage for one or two hours.
