STEPHENSON -- She's a retired teacher who continues to impart wisdom on students of Stephenson High School's business club.  Sharon Wyble has been the business club advisor for 35 years.

A Business Professionals of America banquet was held for her Thursday evening to recognize her outstanding work with students.  She was recognized by State Representative Judy Nerat.  But Wyble says her mission is to touch the lives of students. Some of them attended the event.

"When we start and we have a goal, they can actually meet that goal and be highly successful at it if they put in the hard work. By doing that, I really want them to get confidence," said Wyble of the students.

One of the highest success rates of the club is with their parliamentary procedures team.  They've won a total of 16 times, and 13 consecutive times, including this past year.  Wyble's students have won at regional, state, and national levels.
