PESHTIGO, WI -- A Peshtigo, Wisconsin man is facing charges after an armed robbery and police chase.
Jason Charles Baker, 32, is accused of armed robbery of the Valucare pharmacy on May 31. When police located him a short time later, he failed to stop his vehicle; instead, a short chase ensued. It ended when Baker's vehicle lost control and crashed into a Peshtigo garden.
Baker's preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 26 on charges of armed robbery, theft of movable property between $5,000 and $10,000, fleeing and eluding, and first degree reckless endangering safety.
