ISHPEMING -- There was a possible homicide in Ishpeming on Friday according to the Ishpeming Police Department.
One man is believed to be dead after a shooting at a residence in the 400 block of North Second Street. There is one person in custody.
The incident happened shortly before 1 p.m. and police have not said what led to the shooting.
The Ishpeming Police Department is working on the investigation with help from the Michigan State Police, Ishpeming Township Police and the Marquette County Sheriff's Department.
