Building burns in Escanaba

ESCANABA -- Escanaba Public Safety responded to a fire on Thursday morning at a former grocery store location.

When firefighters arrived at the building on 229 Stephenson they spotted flames in upper story windows.  The firefighters then searched for occupants in the building and put out the fire.

According to authorities there were no injuries and the fire is still under investigation.
