MARQUETTE -- The Memorial Day weekend is almost here, so how are people traveling?

More people may be choosing to take out there RV's, campers, and trailers this weekend.  If you're planning on doing some traveling, roadways will be clear of construction so expect no delays.

It's going to be warm so enjoy some fun on the beach.  During the holiday weekend there will be more police on the streets.

"Wear your safety belt of course that's going to be zero tolerance on safety belt usage," said Sgt. Kevin Dowling of the Michigan State Police.  "Don't drink and drive follow those things that will certainly go towards reducing any potential accidents."

Gas prices look like they will remain stable.  At Cenex it's $3.78 a gallon.  You can keep tabs on U.P. gas prices by visiting our Pump Patrol page.
