UPPER PENINSULA -- High winds and lightning caused power outages across the U.P. Sunday, affecting thousands of customers.
The photo shows a downed power line on Varnum Street in Munising where nearly 1,200 customers were affected. More than 200 also lost power in Ishpeming.
