ESCANABA -- The 5th Annual United Way Mini Golf tournament is teeing off Wednesday, May 23, and it's a smaller fundraiser for United Way of Delta County.  It'll take place at Family Fun Park in Escanaba.

United Way Executive Director, Julie Mallard, says the event may draw 100 golfers.  She hopes it raises $1500 to $2000.  It's a smaller fundraiser to remind the community that United Way works all year-round.

"We just hope that people will come out and have a good time.  I'd love to see some businesses put together teams, and everybody can wear their business t-shirts.  We have a lot of kids coming with their families, so we just want everyone to come and have fun," said Mallard.

The rain or shine event for all skill levels will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.
