ESCANABA -- One company in Escanaba is showing its commitment to good food and giving back.
Tastefully Simple is the name of the company, and their motto is "The food you love, the time you deserve."
They're a direct-selling company that's based out of Alexandria, Minnesota. Bonnie Quinn and Sarah Wirtz are local consultants from the company. Tastefully Simple also donates to two national charities, including Share Our Strength and Giving with Gratitude.
They whipped up a few easy treats at the kitchen in the William Bonifas Fine Arts Center, and it only took a few minutes to make the strawberry sweet onion salad. The other recipes included Tastefully Simple dips and glazes for grilled barbeque wings.
"A lot of our products come with a couple of servings," said Quinn, "so it's very inexpensive, and you can treat a good gathering to many of these products for the little amount you spend."
