MUNISING -- If you're looking to enjoy the outdoors and volunteer, try adopting a trail.
On Saturday, many people showed up at Munising's Visitors Center to sign up. In order to adopt a trail, you are asked to visit often, keep it clean, and report any major issues. Remember, it's yours.
"They're giving back to the park. It's a fun way to get out and enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, give back to the National Park Service," said Pam Baker, a park manager.
This is the seventh year of the program. You can also adopt a beach or a campsite.
