Rain is the main weather concern over the next few days. Sunday's rain is steadily moving west to east with incoming low pressure. Rainfall could be heavy at times, and a rumble of thunder is possible. Rainfall could exceed half an inch through Sunday night. Otherwise, winds will be relatively light out of the southeast and highs will be in the low to mid 50s.
Sunday night will see continued rain lasting overnight into Monday. Winds will remain light and lows will only fall into the low 40s.
As that low draws closer to the UP, rain will continue through Monday's forecast. It will be heaviest in the daytime before clearing away slowly in the evening. Highs will be in the 50s mostly, but temps could exceed 60 out west.
Monday night's lows will again fall into the low 40s. A slight chance of rain remains, but precip should stop for a while and even reveal a few spots of clearer skies.
Tuesday will see rain again starting in the day. Starting Wednesday, things should clear up as high pressure starts to take over. Temperatures will steadily increase toward next weekend into the 60s.
On a note of interest the National Weather Service radar is now up and running again with the new dual pol upgrade.

This was the second sunset on our trip that we saw through the rain beneath the cloud base. I love the way the sun reflects off of the rain shafts. Beautiful! And this was with lightning too.
