Sale tables were filled with clothes, toys, and electronics

COVINGTON -- The weekend-long annual rummage bake sale wrapped up Sunday at the Covington multi-purpose building.

Sale tables were filled with clothes, toys, and electronics. All the items were donated from people in the community and across the U.P. Donations were marked down and re-sold at a cheaper price.

"We serve coffee and lunch, and people sit and congregate and visit, sometimes for hours from neighboring towns that haven't seen each other since who knows when, so it's a fun time, too," said Helen Lepola, a coordinator.

All funds raised will help keep Bethany Lutheran Church running.
