MARQUETTE -- An 89-year-old Marquette woman who was reported missing on Friday around 12:45 p.m. has been found and taken to Marquette General Hospital by ambulance.

The woman, who had recently demonstrated signs of Dementia, was reported missing by her son.  He stopped by her house on Spruce Street and could not locate her.  Officers later found her behind a home several blocks from where she lived.

The Marquette Police Department received a call at 11 p.m. on Thursday night by a person who spotted an elderly woman walking down the street.  They did not find anybody when they responded to the call.

The woman was given medical care when she was found, and then taken to MGH.  Police aren't sure if she spent the entire night outside.
