Verizon Wireless service outages

MARQUETTE -- Verizon Wireless was having outages in parts of the central and western Upper Peninsula on Friday morning, according to the Michigan State Police.

Service started returning to areas around 10:30 a.m. Calling service seemed to be impacted, but data and text was working during the outage.
