MARQUETTE -- Several people lined up for the annual American Association of University Women Book Sale at the First Presbyterian Church in Marquette Thursday afternoon.  Thousands of books were donated throughout the year and are now separated in categories.

It costs buyers $5 to get in and the the most expensive book is $2.  Members hope to raise between $3,000 and $6,000.  All the funds collected will go toward scholarships for women.

"Women who are either having a very tough time financially going back to school or who might be women who are coming from a broken marriage who might be older and may come back to actually do something with their lives," said Pattie Larsen, AAUW President.

If you haven't made your way there yet, you still have time.  The sale will run until noon Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church.
