MARQUETTE -- Two community agencies are teaming up to collect donations.

Habitat for Humanity and the Goodwill Store in Marquette are holding a joint donation drive Saturday.  From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. the agencies will collect anything from toys, jewelry, clothing, appliances and furniture in the Goodwill Store parking lot on US-41.

The drive is a chance for both organizations to update their goods.

"I just think the partnership is something we want to collaborate. It's kind of a down time for donations for both agencies, so it's kind of like a little spring kickoff that we can try to help out with, out partner, out there in Harvey," said John Bender, Store Manager at Goodwill.

Both organizations say they take just about anything in good condition.  If you're unsure of your item, you can call either agency for assistance.
