Student confesses to bomb threat

HANNAHVILLE -- A 17-year-old Hannahville Indian School student is suspended after he confessed to writing a bomb threat on Tuesday morning.

The male student was interviewed by police and confessed to writing the threat on a piece of paper which was found in the school's hallway.  The Hannahville Tribal Police responded to the threat when it was discovered by staff at Nah Tah Wahsh/Hannahville Indian School.

Police are speaking with the United States Assistant Attorney's Office and are reviewing possible charges.

The student is suspended pending results from the investigation.
