ALGER COUNTY -- Two of the four suspects involved in a February armed home invasion in Munising Township were in court for their pretrial.

George Carmona and Ruben Rodriguez appeared in the Alger County Circuit Court Monday morning.

The suspects allegedly broke in a home and held the owner at gunpoint.  They face multiple criminal charges including armed robbery.  The county prosecutor is in discussions on possible plea bargains.

Defense attorneys Raymond Gregory and John Bergman have yet to agree to any deal for their client.

"We would like to continue negotiating with the prosecutor's office about the bargains," said Bergman.  "We would like some more time to think about it."

"We'll continue the matter till 10 a.m. on May 7," said Judge William Carmody.  "Mr. Gregory, if you have some time while you're here this morning, you could talk to Mrs. Bahrman before you leave relative to the offer that's on the table."

Israel Velez and Isaac Cotto will also have the pretrials continued, along with the other two suspects, on May 7.
