Easter Sunday will see more dry and windy weather. Despite Saturday's rain that came with a passing cold front, high winds Sunday will cause that water to dry up very quickly. The National Weather Service has issued several Red Flag Warnings for the western U.P. that are scheduled to expire by 9pm ET/8pm CT.

Sunday should see more warmer than average temperatures in the 50s, but it is the first day of a cooling trend that will last much of this upcoming week. Skies will see a mix of sun and clouds. Winds will be strong out of the west and northwest with gusts easily exceeding 30 mph at times.

Sunday night will be cold with lows around 30 degrees. Some rain becoming snow will develop west near the lake. Elsewhere, skies should be mostly cloudy. Winds will remain breezy, but decrease in strength.

Monday will only see highs in the low 40s, a bit warmer out east near Lake Michigan. Skies will be mostly cloudy to overcast with some scattered rain and snow throughout the day. Winds will add a chilly bite to the air.

Monday night will see continued light scattered snowfall. Lows will fall to around 30, coldest in the western interior with 20s.

Tuesday should see some lingering snowfall east, again with cooler temperatures. The rest of the week will see more highs in the 40 degree range, which is seasonal for this time of year. Things will warm up again for next weekend with highs in the 50s along with some rain.

Keep your eyes open for any fires and report them if you see them. For more weather info, join me on Facebook where I will be posting Red Flag Warnings and updates as issued by the National Weather Service. Have a safe and happy Easter!
