Meth lab discovered in Sawyer

SAWYER -- Another meth lab found in Marquette County.
    
According to the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET), the lab was at a home in Sawyer.
    
Detectives received information of the suspected lab at the home, located on Dart Street.  A warranted search revealed evidence that meth was being made in the home.
    
One male and one female suspect were taken into custody on probation violations.  The case has been handed over to the prosecutor's office for further review.
    
Two children ages one and three, were turned over to Marquette County Child Protective Services.

UPSET detectives were assisted by the Michigan State Police Negaunee Post, Forsyth Township Police, West Branch Fire Department, and the Marquette General ER staff.
