IRONWOOD -- Ironwood residents have something to be excited about, and it's the kickoff of their new city website.
The new website is designed to make online navigation easier for residents, visitors, and businesses and has been in the works for the past few years.
For example, any Ironwood resident can pull up a "service request form" and immediately submit a suggestion or concern to city officials.
"We wanted to give residents a chance to find out what the city is really doing," said Ironwood City Commissioner, Rick Semo. "We feel like there's a lot going on in Ironwood, a lot of projects. Many are underway, and many are already planned and being funded."
The new website makes use of graphics, especially on the homepage, where there's a slideshow of Ironwood images.
The updated website also includes dropdown menus.
