MARQUETTE -- Sunday, the Animal Medical Center in Marquette will be hosting a fundraiser event for the Marquette City Police Department.

Bring your pet to get their nails clipped for $5 or even get your dog microchipped for $30, so if they get lost, you can find them.  Staff members from Animal Medical Center will be volunteering their time.

"We just really strongly encourage the public to come out and support us. It's going to be this coming Sunday at Mare-Z-Doats from 12 to 3.  It's going to be busy; you may have a little bit of a wait, but we're going to have lots of volunteers," said Andi Gorisky from the center.

All the funds raised will go to getting two new dogs for the Marquette City Police.
