IRON MOUNTAIN -- The Iron Mountain Relay for Life committee met at Bay West College to plan and set up the relay this year.
The past few years have seen a decline in the number of participants, and their goal this year is to get those numbers back up.
Of course the goal of Relay for Life is to combat cancer, a battle that Sheri Stepin knows only too well.
“From being so happy to being so sad, cancer takes so much away from all of us that it's just something that we have to do to be sure that this doesn't happen,” said cancer survivor Sheri Stepin.
The Relay for Life will take place on June 15 and 16 at 12 p.m.
