The Marquette County Health Department is offering free checks from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at MarqTran to make sure residents' cars seats are installed properly

MARQUETTE -- Eighty percent of car seats are not used properly. It's a mistake that could be fatal for your child.

The Marquette County Health Department is offering free checks from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at MarqTran to make sure residents' cars seats are installed properly. They'll also be selling discounted car seats for Marquette County residents and Marquette County WIC clients. It's important to note you must bring your child with you to the event so that the car seat can be installed or inspected.
